Vice Chancellor meet with faculty of Islamabad Campus

That we must get ready for globalization, that we must learn swimming or else we will be drowned said by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari during meeting with the Management, Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers of Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (IIRS), School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) and Pakistan Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (PIRS) on his 1st visit of Isra University Islamabad campus. He said, ‘Work hard to achieve your goals. I want you to become great, as we are optimistic in you. You are innovator of the leaders of tomorrow, so get yourself ready to address the challenges of the future. He reminded the participant their goal as educated citizens, to maintain the image of your institution (Isra University) and Pakistan, by letting the world know that we are a peaceful nation. While talking about change, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari said further in his address, He emphasized the importance of education and said that learning is a lifelong process that continues from the cradle to the grave. He urged the teachers to be competitive and participative in order to extend their knowledge. There can be no development without participation; and there can be no participation without communication, in this age of digital literacy. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali G. Sheikh, Pro Vice Chancellor, Isra University Islamabad campus in his Welcome address, He shared the tremendous progress shown by Isra University Islamabad Campus specially Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (IIRS) and the various achievements made over the years. In his closing remarks, He said our aim to serve the people of Islamabad Rawalpindi in particular and Pakistan in the field of education, healthcare and social welfare. Gratitude to the Honorable Vice Chancellor, for sparing time from his busy schedule. Further, Assistant Professor Dr. Maria Liaquat IIRS presented brief introduction of Honorable Vice Chancellor to the participants. At the end, Additional Registrar Islamabad Campus Mr. Rahim Bakhsh Channa presented vote of thanks to the Vice Chancellor and all the participants and invited for the lunch.
