VC Inaugurated Motion Analysis Lab & Rehabilitation Gym

Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari visited School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS), Isra University City Campus Islamabad, where a warm welcome and reception given by Mustafa Minhas Director (F&A) and SEAS team. Vice Chancellor has inspected classrooms, labs, Library, and majors’ departments of School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS), and presided the meeting along with the PVC Islamabad Campus, Executive Director ANMCH, Director (F&A) and Head of Department of SEAS. He Said, Pakistan is moving ahead in professional studies while knowledge oriented environment is being provided to upcoming professionals in the country. Vice Chancellor stated that education, training and technological advances have impacted the professionals in recent years by creating countless new opportunities. While addressing the inaugural ceremony of (Motion Analysis Lab) and (Rehabilitation Gym) in the Isra Institute of Rehabilitation Sciences Islamabad campus He said, I am very pleased, Management of Islamabad campus focusing on Education, Training of Teachers & Learning, E-learning, Assessment, Rehabilitation, Quality Assurance & Evaluation, Continuous Professional Development, Education, Postgraduate Training, Ethics & Professionalism. He further said that medical and allied medical sciences is experiencing advancement at an exceptional scale together with advances in communication, exchange researches, collaboration internationally medical school and information technologies has promoted the emergence of new trends throughout the global healthcare community Prof Dr Muhmmad Naveed Babur, Principal, Isra institute of Rehabilitation Sciences presented detail brief about labs to the Vice Chancellor, This lab will be used in Diagnostics and therapy for orthopedic, neurological and neuromuscular dysfunctions, Scientific and complex analysis of human gait, Treadmill analysis for rehabilitation or prevention of injury, frontal or sagittal view, Dynamic spine analysis and evaluation of posture, Rehabilitation and injury prevention in sport an Learning of movement sequences in a quicker and more efficient way. This lab will be a significant contribution for PhD and M.Phil research projects of rehabilitation sciences in Pakistan. Prof Dr Muhmmad Naveed Babur, Principal IIRS present the honorary shield, Sindhi Ajrak and cap to the Vice Chancellor. Vice Chancellor visited classrooms, laboratories, Library, OPD, and majors departments of Isra institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (IIRS), School of Engineering & Applied Sciences (SEAS) and Pakistan institute of Rehabilitation Sciences (PIRS) main campus and inspect thoroughly also benefited entire team with his view and suggestions. PVC, Executive Director, Addl. Registrar, Director (F&A), Principal IIRS, Executive Director PIRS, and Head of Department of SEAS accompanied them throughout the visit. At the end, the Vice Chancellor Prof. Nazir Ashraf Laghari expressed his gratitude and appreciated the organizers for making fool-proof arrangements of the visit, The presence of large gathering of staff of Isra University Islamabad campus at lunch with Vice Chancellor.
