Isra University Observes Solidarity with Armed Forces of Pakistan Hyderabad – May 8, 2025: Isra University Hyderabad observed a moment of Solidarity with the Armed Forces of Pakistan in a special event held today on campus. The event was organized to express unwavering support for Pakistan’s Armed Forces in response to the illegal and unprovoked Indian aggression on 06 May 2025. The gathering aimed to reinforce the university’s stance on national sovereignty, peace, and unity, and to stand by the Armed Forces during times of national crisis. The participation of the academic community reflected the collective sentiment of grief, resilience, and defiance in the face of unjust hostility. The event was led by the Worthy Vice Chancellor, Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, and was attended by all Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, faculty members, staff, and students, reaffirming the university’s institutional and national support for the Armed Forces of Pakistan. The program included a Fateha for the martyrs of 06 May 2025, in which 26 innocent Pakistani citizens were martyred as a result of Indian attacks. The National Anthem was played with full spirit, symbolizing unity, patriotism, and collective resolve.
In his address, the Vice Chancellor Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi paid tribute to the sacrifices of Pakistan’s Armed Forces and strongly condemned the Indian aggression. He stated: “I stand here today not only as an academic leader but as a proud citizen of Pakistan. I, along with all of us at Isra University, firmly stand in solidarity with our valiant Armed Forces. We will continue to raise our voices against injustice and aggression, and we urge our youth to remain committed to the values of patriotism, peace, and national unity. At this critical moment, the role of our teachers at Isra University becomes even more vital. You are the guiding light for our youth — and it is through your words, actions, and teachings that we instill the values of sacrifice, service, and love for our homeland. Let us use our classrooms and platforms to build resilience and awareness in the minds of our students. To our students, you are the future of this nation. It is your strength, voice, and dedication that will shape the direction of our country. We expect you to remain alert, informed, and deeply rooted in the spirit of unity and purpose. Stand tall with your Armed Forces, and let your resolve reflect the strength of our nation. We must also acknowledge the humanitarian aspect of this aggression. There are wounded civilians and families in grief who are in dire need of medicine, care, and above all, our prayers. I call upon each one of us to play our role — whether through donations, volunteering, or simply extending heartfelt duas. It is our collective responsibility to support those affected, both emotionally and materially. Let this gathering today not be a one-time show of solidarity, but the beginning of a continued and meaningful commitment to Pakistan — its people, its defenders, and its future. May Allah protect our Armed Forces and bless Pakistan with lasting peace and strength.”
