Research & Technology Showcase 2022

Under the visionary leadership of worthy Vice-Chancellor, Isra University, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari, Isra University in collaboration with the Office of Research, Innovation & Commercialization (ORIC) participated in a two-days Research & Technology Showcase 2022 organized by Sindh Higher Education Commission (SHEC) & NED University, Karachi. The event commenced on 19th & 20th May 2022 at the Expo Centre Karachi. More than 34 participating Universities/Higher Education Institutes exhibited almost 300+ ready-to-commercial projects in the showcase. The inauguration of the showcase was done by Honorable Provincial Minister for Women Development, Syeda Shehla Raza, and Chairman (SHEC), Prof. Dr. Tariq Rafi. The event was attended by Vice-Chancellors, faculty, and students from various universities across Sindh. The Chief Guest also visited the Isra University stall and praised the efforts of students, faculty, and university for their innovative and advanced projects in the field of Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering & Information Technology. Mohammad Nabeel Khan, Manager (ORIC), led the delegation of Isra University along with three innovative projects/teams. Two projects were from the Department of Computer Science & One prototype was from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Moreover, while the Media interview, Mohammad Nabeel Khan expressed his views and said that these types of exhibitions will act as a bridge between industries, R&D organizations, and universities. Further, he also showed gratitude to worthy Vice-Chancellor, Isra University, Prof. Dr. Nazir Ashraf Laghari for providing such a platform to students which will serve for the advancement of research & commercialization of the projects.
