Isra University Organizes Job & Trade Fair 2015
Isra University Organized Job & Trade Fair at its Hyderabad Campus on Tuesday, 17 November 2015 from 09:30 AM to 04:00 PM. This Job and Trade Fair was the second consecutive event organized by Isra University. The first one was organized last year in which 40 companies had participated. This year more than 60 companies participated.
The Fair was split up in to two sections .i-e. Job & Trade Fair sections. The Job Fair Section composed of companies setting up their stalls to collect CV’s for hiring and recruiting human resources in their companies. While in the Trade Fair section companies participating showcased their products to send a soft message. This Job & Trade Fair was participated by reputable organizations companies & Industries from the region.
Students & Visitors not only from Isra University but from different walks of life participated in huge number. They were very happy and excited to be part of the event and thanked Isra University for organizing such an important event as far as their future prospects are concerned. Isra University is keeping in view the above thoughts have made this event a regular feature of its calendar as Isra University believes in promoting education and provide welfare to the society.
There were two more sub-sections in the Job Fair Section i-e Recruitment Corner and Final Year Project Corner. Companies participating in the Job Fair Section were very happy to see the Final Year Projects of the students from the Departments of Electrical Engineering, Computer Sciences and Management Sciences of Isra University. They appreciated the level of projects of the students especially the people from industry were acknowledging the ideas, thoughts and concept of the final year projects. Another sub-section was the Recruitment Corner in which few companies also conducted on-spot Interviews and Tests of the participating students and visitors.
The event was inaugurated by the chief guest Asif Ali Shah, Commissioner, Hyderabad, Who on the occasion formally opened by cutting the ribbon. Mr. Asif Ali Shah visited the stalls and interacted with the participating companies. He was very pleased to see the enormous response from the companies and the students participating. The Chief Guest was accompanied by Prof. Dr. Asadullah Kazi, Chancellor. Isra University, Hydrabad, Prof. Dr. Ghulam Qadir Kazi, Vice Chancellor, Isra University, Hydrabad, Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Kazi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Engineering & Management Sciences & Chief Parton, Career Development Center, Isra University, Hyderabad and prof. Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Pro Vice Chancellor Administration, Isra University Hyderabad. The Chief Guest was presented with shield. “Education is the most powerful weapon, you can use to change the world” said the Chief Guest.
Later in the day, the Closing Ceremony took place in which certificates, shields and Souvenirs were presented to the participating students, organizes and the companies. Ms. Amna Shah, President, Isra University Career Development Society (IUCDS) spoke on the occasion. Afterwords Prof. Dr. Hameedullah Kazi, Pro Vice Chancellor, Engineering & Management Sciences & Chief Parton, Career Development Center, Isra University, Hyderabad, thanked the participating companies, organizers for putting up on excellent show. He also shed light on the benefits of such events and encouraged the students to get maximum out of it.
The event was organized by Career Development Center, which is combination of Career Development Society of Isra University (IUCDS) & Career Development Office (CDO). The Job & Trade Fair 2015 was sponsored by Ajwa & Unique Motorcycles. Lunch and tea was also served in the Fair. The participating companies belonged to the Banking, Education, Engineering, Medical, Textile, Auto Mobile Sectors which included Nestle, ICAMP, Bank Alfalah Islamic, Sanofi, Aeo Pharma Pakistan, Meezan Bank, National Institute of Culinary Arts and Hotel Management, LRBT Hospital, State Life Insurance, JS Global, Soneri bank, ORIX leasing Pakistan Limited, FATIMID Foundation, Integrated business system, UBL-AMEEN, Sartoon Sang Crafts-SRSO, Tripda, National bank of Pakistan, MCB, Adamjee Life insurance, Gexton, PTCL, Zong, Tameer Microfinance Bank, Bank AL Baraka and Jubilee Insurance.
