Isra University organized a tri-lingual Speech Competition 2015

Directorate of Student Affairs, Isra University with collaboration of Isra University Debate Society organized “Speech Competition 2015” on Thursday, 10th September 2015 at Asadullah Kazi Auditorium. The competition was held on tri-lingual basis (English, Urdu & Sindhi). More than 28 students from different disciplines of the university participated in the competition.

The topics of the debate were “We are a crowd Not a Nation” in English, اے وطن میری روح زخمی ہے پھر بھی مجھے تجھ سے محبت ہے (Ay Watan Meri Rooh Zakhmi Hai Phir Bhi Mujhe Tujh Se Mohabbat Hai) in Urdu and تاريخ هڪ بهترين سبق آهي
(Tareekh Hik Behtareen Sabaq Ahey) in Sindhi.

The Chief Guest of the Competition Dr. Ahmed Waliullah Kazi, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Isra University, appreciated the efforts of Debate society in organizing such an important activity. “These activities should be promoted to enhance the confidence of youth”, He said.

The judging panel of the competition included faculty members Dr. Hakimzadi Wagan, Dr. Abdul Subhan Kazi and Ms. Yasra Aslam .

At the end of the competition, shields and certificates were distributed among the winners, participants and organizers.

The winners and runner ups included Samieullah Saifullah and Hina Muhammad Ismail in English language, Mohammad Ahmed and Sadaf Shaikh in Urdu language, Prem Sagar Maharaj and Mushtaque Ahmed Hingorjo in Sindhi language.
