The School offers the following post graduate degree programs at the Islamabad Campus, the detail of which are presented in the accompanying tables giving an overview of typical study plans.
MS & Ph. D Programs
The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences offers degree programs in MS and Ph. D. The MS Program is offered in the fields of Elec tronic & Computer Engineering. It is a two year, full-time program of 30 credits based on 24 credits of coursework and six credits of research or 30 credits of coursework only. The program also offers a variety of elective courses in novel technologies and emerging trends in modern engineering, which helps broaden the student's field of expertise. The Ph. D program is a three to five years, full-time commitment of 54 credits based on 18 credits of coursework and 36 credits of Research.
M. Sc. Program
The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences also offers a degree program in M. Sc. The M. Sc. program is offered in the field of Electronics with specialization in Telecommunication Technology. It is a two years, full-time program of 60 credits based on 54 credit of coursework and 6 credits of project.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (ELECTRONICS)
This is a four year, full-time program of 136 credits. It offers courses covering a broad spectrum ranging from basic circuit systems to advanced integrated circuits. The program is designed to produce graduates who can meet the growing industrial demand of qualified personnel in design, manufacturing and
maintenance of electronic systems.
BACHELOR OF SCIENCE (COMPUTER SCIENCE)
This is a four year, full-time program of 136 credits. It offers courses covering the core areas of computer science along with technology oriented courses. The graduates of this program will be well equipped to meet the challenges posed by the dynamic needs of the software industry.
B-Tech (Hons) Program
The School of Engineering & Applied Sciences also offers a degree program in BTech (Hons). The B-Tech program is offered in the field of Electronics. It is a four years, full-time program of 136 credits based on 130 credits of coursework and 6 credits of project.
